Terms of Service

Version 2.3 — Effective 30 September 2026

All legal documents

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and andBeyond.digital Ltd (registered as ANDBEYOND.DIGITAL LTD), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17260951, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, ICO registration ZC172279. We develop and operate C3NTR ("C3NTR", "we", "us" or "our").

They apply when you visit this website (c3ntr.app), register for early access, or use the C3NTR mobile app or web portal (together, the "Service"). If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Service.

In these Terms a "School" is any school, academy, club or organisation that creates a C3NTR space, whatever its discipline. A "Leader" is a person who creates or administers a School: a school leader, school admin or instructor account. A "Member" is anyone a School enrols, including its students. When a Leader accepts these Terms for a School, the School is the contracting party and the Leader confirms they have the authority to bind it.

Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and, for Schools, our Data Processing Agreement form part of this agreement. If you use the Service as a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have by law.

2. The Service

C3NTR is a knowledge and curriculum platform for any School with a structured way of teaching: martial arts, dance, music, yoga, gymnastics, fitness, academic subjects and more. Leaders publish articles, glossary terms, video, audio, announcements and events. Members read them in the app at the level their School has unlocked for them. Leaders can see each Member's reading progress and aggregate analytics for the School.

Only a School's staff can publish. There is no private messaging, chat, comments or forum in the Service, and Members cannot publish to one another.

We improve the Service regularly. Features may change or be withdrawn over time. Where a change materially affects a paid plan, we give notice as set out in section 20.

3. A Reference Platform, Not Instruction

C3NTR is a reference and knowledge platform. It is not instruction, coaching or training, and we are not your instructor. Everything in a School's library is written or chosen by that School, not by us.

Nothing in the Service replaces supervision by a qualified instructor. Members must not attempt techniques, exercises or other physical activity described in the Service outside the setting their School directs. If anything is unclear, stop and ask your instructor.

The School is responsible for the safety and suitability of what it publishes, and for deciding which Members it unlocks each item for. If your discipline involves physical activity, please make this clear to your Members and, where they are under 18, to their parents or guardians.

4. Not a System of Record

C3NTR is not a system of record. Reading progress, grade levels, attendance responses and analytics in the Service are there to help you teach. They are not an authoritative record. Schools must keep their own records of grading, attendance, membership, medical information and safeguarding, and must not rely on C3NTR as the sole or primary record of any of them.

We take care with the data you place in the Service, but please keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

5. Who May Use C3NTR

You must be 18 or over, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, to create or administer a School. This applies to every school leader, school admin and instructor account.

Members under 18 are enrolled by their School, not by us. When a School enrols a Member under 18, the School warrants that it has the authority of a parent or guardian to do so, and that it has given the required privacy information to the Member and to the Member's parent or guardian. Our Privacy Policy explains what the Service collects. The School is responsible for passing that on in a form its Members can understand.

The School records an age band (under 13, 13 to 17, or 18 or over) for every Member it invites or approves. For a Member under 13 the School must also record a parent or guardian's name and a phone number or email address before the Member can be approved, and may record that the parent or guardian has been told about the Service. Members the School marks as under 18 receive higher-privacy defaults in the app, described in the Privacy Policy. The School's warranty above still applies: the age band is the School's statement, not ours, and we do not verify it.

If you are registering on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it to these Terms.

6. Where We Offer the Service

The Service is offered to Schools established in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. We do not currently accept customers established in the United States or Canada, and we may decline or close an account opened from those countries. If your School is established somewhere else, please write to us before you sign up so we can tell you whether we can serve you.

7. Accounts and Sign-in

You sign in to the app with a one-time code sent to your phone number, and to the web portal with a sign-in link sent to your email address. Your phone number and email address are your keys, so keep them secure. You agree to:

  • Give accurate information and keep it current.
  • Not share sign-in codes or links, or let anyone else use your account.
  • Tell us promptly at info@c3ntr.app if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account.

A School's Leaders are responsible for the accounts they create and the roles they assign. When a School removes a staff member, that person's staff access is revoked. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe has been compromised, and we will tell you when we do.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
  • Publish content that is unsafe or unsuitable for the Members it is unlocked for.
  • Enrol anyone in a School without the authority described in section 5.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers or connected systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any component of the Service.
  • Transmit viruses, malware or any other harmful code.
  • Use the Service in a way that could impair its availability, performance or integrity.
  • Scrape, harvest or collect data from the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Use the content import or website branding features to systematically copy content from other schools, websites or services without the rights holder's permission.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation, or falsely claim an affiliation.

A breach of this section may lead to suspension or termination under section 18, and may be referred to the relevant authorities where the law requires.

9. Your Content

You keep ownership of the curriculum, text, media and other material you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content you grant C3NTR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and deliver it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. That licence lasts for as long as Your Content is in the Service.

You are responsible for making sure Your Content does not infringe anyone's rights and complies with the law. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or that we are required to remove by law, and we will tell the School when we do. Section 15 explains how anyone can report content to us.

10. Plans, Billing and Payment

C3NTR has a free Seed plan and paid plans. Current plans and prices are on our pricing page; we do not repeat them here. Each plan includes a media storage allowance; larger allowances come with higher plans.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe in pounds sterling, either monthly or annually, and renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees exclude VAT and other taxes unless we say otherwise. A one-off lifetime licence is described in section 11.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email to the School's billing contact. A change applies from the first renewal after the notice period ends.

Refunds and cancellation rights, including the 14-day right of a consumer to cancel a contract made at a distance, are set out on our Refunds page. Billing questions go to support@c3ntr.app.

Late payment. Invoices are due on the date stated on them. If a business account is overdue we may charge interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. If an account stays unpaid we may suspend access after written notice and a 14-day period to put it right. During a payment suspension we keep the School's data; we do not delete it. Access is restored once the account is settled.

11. Lifetime Licences

For a limited time we offer a one-off lifetime licence for some paid plans. A lifetime licence gives your School the features of that plan, including updates to that plan, for as long as we operate C3NTR, with no renewal fees. It does not include tiers or add-ons introduced later. The plan's storage allowance still applies. A lifetime licence belongs to the School that bought it and cannot be transferred or resold.

If we ever discontinue C3NTR, or the plan your lifetime licence attaches to, we will give lifetime licence holders at least six months' written notice and, on request before the Service closes, an export of the School's data. Because the licence is paid once and used over many years, we do not promise a refund of the lifetime fee if the Service is discontinued. The cancellation rights that apply at purchase are on our Refunds page.

12. Our Intellectual Property

The C3NTR name, the 三 mark, the design of the Service, our software and all related trademarks belong to C3NTR. Nothing in these Terms gives you a right to use them without our prior written consent. All intellectual property rights in the Service, other than Your Content, stay with C3NTR or its licensors.

Starter templates we provide remain ours. You may use and adapt them within your School's library for as long as you use the Service.

Stock photographs and video clips offered inside the Service come from Pexels under the Pexels License. When you choose one, a copy is saved to your School's storage with the photographer's credit. Your use of that media is subject to the Pexels License.

13. Content Import and Website Branding

The Service has two ways of bringing in material from outside. They work differently, so we describe both.

Content import. When you import a document, web page or shared file into your library, the fetch happens on your own device. Text is extracted there, and any images are re-uploaded into your School's own storage. We do not proxy, cache or store the source page on our servers.

Website branding. When you enter your School's website address during setup, one of our servers fetches that page, identifying itself as C3NTR, to find your logo, brand colours and a hero image. The candidate images it finds are downloaded and stored in your School's storage so you can choose between them. The best match may be applied to your School automatically; you can change it at any time. Only enter a website you own or are authorised to represent.

For both features:

  • You are responsible for having the right to use anything you import or fetch, including text, images and other media.
  • Source attribution is added automatically to help you track where material came from. It does not replace permission from the author or rights holder.
  • You must not use these features to systematically copy content from other schools, websites or services. They are for your own material, or material you have clear permission to use.
  • Once you publish imported material, it is part of your School's library and you are responsible for it, the same as anything you write in the Service.
  • We do not review or verify the rights status of imported material. If a rights holder contacts us, we follow the route in section 15.

14. AI Writing Assistant and On-device Search

The web portal includes an optional AI writing assistant for Leaders. It is off by default. To use it, you supply your own API key from a third-party provider, currently Anthropic or OpenAI. This is how it works:

  • Your API key is stored on your own device: in your browser's local storage for the portal, (the app's own assistant is for C3NTR staff only and uses the device's secure storage). We do not hold a copy.
  • When you ask for a draft, the notes you typed and your key go straight from your browser or device to the provider you chose, which processes them in the United States. Nothing passes through C3NTR.
  • We never receive, store or log your key or your notes. No Member data is sent to the provider.
  • The draft is produced by the provider, not by us. You are responsible for reviewing it before you publish, and for making sure what you publish is lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights.
  • Your use of the provider's API is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
  • We exclude all liability for the accuracy, quality or suitability of AI-generated drafts, so far as the law allows.

Search in the app runs on your device, using a model bundled with the app. Your search is not sent anywhere to find results. Search terms are grouped per School, without your identity, so Leaders can see what Members look for.

15. Reporting Content and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, write to info@c3ntr.app with the subject line "IP notice". Please include the work you own, where the content is (a link, or the School and item name), why you believe it infringes, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

We acknowledge every notice within 2 working days. Within 5 working days of receiving a complete notice we act: we remove or restrict the content and tell the School. The School may send us a counter-notice, and we will pass it to you. Anyone can report other kinds of content, such as unsafe or unlawful material, by the same route. Full details, including what to expect at each step, are on our Report page.

16. Warranties and Insurance

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, so far as the law allows. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away your legal rights, including the right to a service performed with reasonable care and skill. We work to keep the Service available and to improve it, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not offer a service level agreement. Features may change over time; where a change materially affects a paid plan, section 20 applies. Your use of this website is also subject to our Website Disclaimer.

andBeyond.digital Ltd holds professional indemnity insurance of £100,000 per claim.

17. Limitation of Liability

So far as the law allows, C3NTR and its directors, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with the Service, including loss of data, loss of revenue or loss of goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to C3NTR in the twelve months preceding the first such claim and (b) £100,000.

Responsibility for what a School publishes, and for the safety of any physical activity its Members undertake, sits with the School as set out in sections 3 and 4.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

18. Termination and Suspension

By you. A School may cancel its plan at any time from the billing area of the web portal, or by writing to support@c3ntr.app. A Member may leave at any time by deleting their account in the app. A School may also end this agreement on written notice if we are in material breach of it and do not put that right within 30 days of being told.

By us. We may suspend access immediately only where there is a material breach of these Terms, non-payment after the notice in section 10, a legal requirement, or a security risk to the Service or its users. In every other case we may end this agreement on 30 days' written notice to the School.

Afterwards. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. A School may ask us in writing for an export of its data, ideally within 30 days of termination (we also act on later requests); we delete the School's data on request and confirm the deletion in writing, as clause 11 of the Data Processing Agreement sets out. Sections 9, 12, 15, 17, 19 and this section survive termination.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

If a dispute arises, we take these steps in order. First, a named contact from each side meets or speaks to try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days of one side raising it in writing. Second, if that does not settle it, either side may refer it to mediation under the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) model procedure, or a similar recognised scheme. Third, if mediation does not settle it, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the consumer carve-out above. Either side may seek injunctive relief from a court at any time. If you are a consumer, mediation is optional and you may go to court at any time.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version number and effective date are at the top of this page, and previous versions are available on request. Before a material change takes effect, we notify registered school leaders by email at least 30 days in advance and ask them to tell their members; the new version also appears in the app. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not, you may end this agreement under section 18.
